Our Story — Kandy Golf
Kandy Golf is a Canadian golf apparel brand founded in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, by husband-and-wife team Kandace Buchanan and Craig Hollett.
Our story began in November 2019. While working a minimum-wage job and caddying for Craig, I became frustrated with how difficult it was to find women’s golf clothing that was affordable, comfortable, colourful and flattering—especially for women like me who are on the shorter side.
So I decided to create something different.
I designed the Kandy Golf logo and began embroidering it onto polos and hats. I wore them while caddying, and people started asking, “What is Kandy Golf?”
Those four words helped start everything.
What began as an idea from our home in Dartmouth has grown into a Canadian golf brand serving golfers in Canada, and beyond.
Golf Clothes That Are Made to Be Noticed
Kandy Golf was created for golfers who want something different from traditional golf apparel.
Our collections feature fun colours, distinctive prints and performance-focused styles for women and men. From golf polos, dresses and skorts to shorts, pants, layers and matching His & Hers golf outfits, our goal is simple:
Look Good. Feel Good. Play Good.
Our apparel is designed in Nova Scotia with comfort and performance in mind. We create our own prints and produce many of our designs in limited quantities, giving Kandy Golf customers something they won’t see everywhere else on the course.
A Small Canadian Business With Big Dreams
Kandy Golf is still a small, home-based business run by the two of us.
There isn’t a huge corporation behind the brand. We design, sell, promote and grow Kandy Golf while reinvesting back into manufacturing, new collections and expanding the business.
That independence has allowed us to stay close to the golfers who wear Kandy Golf. Customer feedback has played an important role in how our clothing has evolved, from fit and comfort to the styles and prints we create.
From Dartmouth, to Golf Courses Beyond Canada
What started in Nova Scotia has grown far beyond what we imagined in 2019.
Today, Kandy Golf apparel is enjoyed by golfers across Canada, and we continue working to introduce the brand to golfers and golf retailers internationally.
We’re proud of where Kandy Golf started, excited about where it’s going, and incredibly grateful to every golfer, customer, retailer and supporter who has helped a small Canadian business continue to grow.
